Loft Beds for Kids

Whenever I dream of of a house of our own, I also design our rooms. I am quite partial for loft beds as I can just see that the house we can afford is only small. These are space-savers. (And cute too) Thankfully, my kids are not like me who will grow to the chubby side so they wont need weight loss products but I see they are going to be tall and lanky.

Here are some examples of the loft beds I am talking about. As you can see, these are customized spaces so you are assured that you will be maximizing everything.

Spring Cleaning

imageI strongly suggest you follow Simple Mom. She has inspiring posts not only for the family but also for running the household. She now is hosting a weekly series entitled Spring Cleaning and she is now on the topic of decluttering.

As she puts it, decluttering would never be successful if we don’t throw away stuff, because the essence of the word is really getting rid of clutter. We always need to declutter, whether in our household, social lives or technology gadgets. It’s a never ending process. Perhaps if we stop acquiring needless and useless stuff, then we would gradually get rid of the need of it. But I doubt it will happen anytime soon. So whether you need to stock up on cards, pond uv filters, paper, toilet paper that is on sale – think about it first. Do we need it? Will we use it soon? Or we are just taking advantage of what they call “sale” but in essence it’s just the mall getting rid of their clutter.

Patio Furniture

My aunt has a very nice patio furniture set right across their lanai in front of their pool. Patio Covers are their best friends when rainy season starts. Patio Furniture Covers can either be fabric or leatherette, but they prefer the waterproof ones. Patio Chair Covers need to be specific for their wicker chairs as they were custom made. They have a couple of adirondack chairs too, so they have just take out the cushions. Patio Table Covers were also custom made. A Patio Furniture Cover is important if you want to maintain your furniture set that is exposed to extreme weather conditions!Patio furniture dining sets are also perfect when entertaining friends wanting a cook-out or a barbeque out in the lawn or near the pool. As a matter of fact patio furniture dining sets can also be used as work or writing tables or even study tables for kids whenever their friends or schoolmates come over for group study.

Clean Air

I have two kids with respiratory problems. My son has sinusitis and allergic rhinitis while my daughter has asthma. This is primarily the reason why we moved to was the city. When we were living in the city, air purifiers were such a huge help for me to prevent attacks. It is actually the only way we were able to survive having limited attacks whenever the weather changed, which was so often. A hepa air purifier was the one recommended to us but we just got the small home air purifier to make sure we will be able to use it wherever we like. Here at home, where we live now has such clean air that my kids haven’t had any attacks in 2 years that would warrant a trip to the hospital. I am very thankful and haven’t regretted our decision ever since. Now if only we can find a home to call our own here!
