IKEA Modern Bedroom

image

I think you would be sleeping peacefully if you had a bed like the one in the picture! You would not be needing the best eye cream for dark circles because chances are you will be sleeping in more often! I have seen the headboard in different pictures and I think you can replace it with a fabric of your choice. I personally love the pillows and the hanging shelves. Plus everything is white!

Hair Fall

I need recommendations for a good shampoo for hair growth . Hair fall has always been one of my biggest hair problems and lately I have noticed the hair on top of my head has thinned a lot. And I am not exaggerating. My mom is exactly the same and I am conscious that sooner or later I might have a bald spot!

Carrie’s Walk In Closet

Whether or not she gets a placement on one of those job philly openings, Carrie will always be every girl’s fashionista icon! Yes, I am having SATC2 fever. Just look at the walk-in closet, before and after!

Here is her closet BEFORE:

And here is her closet NOW:

I honestly would be very happy if I even get half of her walk-in closet before she married Mr. Big.

Clothes De-Cluttering

Since school is about to start for my two kids, I went through their closet to find out what they need for the incoming school year. I gave away all the small clothes they have and they were many. I need to shop for some big and tall clothing that are about two sizes up so it can last longer. We also need to get them new pairs of shoes.

Water Shortage

We are currently experiencing the El Nino phenomenon and it is characterized by drought and intense heat. Not only do we need to bear the terrible heat these days, most areas have been experiencing water shortage as well. There are areas where water needs to be rationed out. Some have invested on stainless steel drums to make sure the water they have is clean and sanitary. Fortunately for us, we haven’t experienced that kind of water shortage but I feel for the families affected.

I hope rain and cool weather come soon!

POÄNG Armchair IKEA

Wouldn’t you love to have an armchair like this? The back is high enough to graciously curve the entire back for support!
image

I would love to have this as a Christmas gift, I am still using a monoblock chair for my computer desk and while I still don’t have any complains, I am sure I would be more comfortable with this kind of chair. I don’t dare dream of owning this one right now though as we are still paying off a couple of purchases on installment from our card. We should be wise not to overspend or else we would need  credit card debt settlement.

Key features

Layer-glued, bent birch frame provides relaxing resilience.
High back provides great support for your neck.
Easy to keep clean; removable dry-clean cover.
Extra cushions are available for variation and renewal.
Combines with POÄNG footstool for great seating comfort.

Assembled size

Width: 68 cm
Depth: 83 cm
Height: 100 cm
Seat width: 55 cm
Seat depth: 53 cm
Seat height: 41 cm

Storage Systems

I have been doing a little spring cleaning lately because school season starts in less than a week. I first tackled our clothes closet and I realize I badly need a dresser for my make-up, skin care, lotion and accessories. I also need little compartments for my underclothes and socks. It’s a good thing I don’t need to get any payday advance for these organizers because they come dirty cheap at IKEA.

I have two of these already. I think I need to get two more so we can have a set for each one of us in the family.

KOMPLEMENT Boxes

I will count the shoes we have that need to be boxed (the pricey ones) and I will buy more of these too:

And I need this for my watches, earrings and small make-up stuff:

CHELSI Two Seat Sofabed

A simple and modern take on sofa yet designed for a quick set up bed. Comes with pillows for added comfort; Changeable covers; Size perfect for small spaces.

Dimension: Sofa Length: 120 cm; Depth: 95 cm; Seat Height: 40 cm; Bed: 192 cm (L) x 120cm (W)

I would love to get this bed, we are thinking of replacing our living room couch and this would make a great sleep bed for guests. I guess I need to talk it over with the husband if we can afford to get this at this time. Or we can use his payday advance loan benefit and get this. It’s not our priority right now anyway, maybe if there is one on sale we will get it right away.

Look at how many styles one sofabed can have!

This is really perfect for small spaces – like our house! It comes in four swatches (the cover is washable) and while I would love to get one in white or tan, I know black would be our only option since we have kids who dirty the house all day.

WSOP Player Spotlight: Chris Moneymaker

With a name like "Chris Moneymaker," you don’t really need a nickname for the poker tables. Surprisingly enough, however, that name is not an adopted moniker. Rather, it is an adaptation of a German name that comes from his ancestors who made gold and silver coins for a living. Moneymaker has successfully made true on his name in another sense, by obtaining over $3 million in tournament winnings since his entry into professional poker.

It is said that Moneymaker made history with his 2003 WSOP Main Event championship victory due to the fact that he was the first player to ever get into the WSOP Main Event through an online satellite. His success spawned an increase in online poker with players aiming for major satellites, which is now referred to as the "Moneymaker Effect."

Unlike many poker players, Chris Moneymaker actually finished his college degree, obtaining a Master’s in accounting. He worked two jobs, one full time and one part time, prior to his victory at the WSOP, which marked his entry into professional poker playing. Since that time he has gone on to other tournament victories, including a total of four money finishes in WSOP events. He also used his reputation in poker to spur other gaming related projects, including a gaming website and his own autobiography, which mostly details his path to the top during the 2003 WSOP Main Event.

He has gone on to prove that it was far more than luck that got him there. He finished second in a World Poker Tour tournament and final tabled in numerous other prominent tournaments. He has also become a Poker Stars spokesman.

Chris Moneymaker currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and child. He plays both live games and online poker while pursuing other gaming related projects.

Erectile Dysfunction Linked to Deadly Diseases

Millions of men in the United States suffer from erectile dysfunction, or ED. In fact, one in 10 men will experience some level of ED at some point in their lives. Most men with ED buy Levitra, Cialis, or Viagra to assist in maintaining and achieving an erection, but what most men don’t realize is that ED can actually be a sign of much deeper and more dangerous conditions.

Obesity and physical inactivity are known contributors to ED in many cases. When a person is obese, plaque quickly and continually builds up in arteries and can lead to hypertension and arterial damage. Obesity also causes many hormonal changes including lowered testosterone, which can result in ED. Excess weight also contributes to diabetes and heart disease, the top killers of men and women in the U.S. As if the health benefits of weight loss weren’t enough, studies have shown that men who eat a balanced diet, exercise, and lose weight will also see an improvement in their ED.

Many men with ED have visited their doctors, but the connection between ED and heart disease is frequently overlooked. Many times, men who have heart attacks were treated for ED for a few years prior and the link between the ED and heart disease wasn’t made until after the fact. Erectile dysfunction leads to a two-fold increase in the risk for heart disease onset, similar to the risks of a moderate smoker who has heart disease in his immediate family. Erectile dysfunction in combination with type-2 diabetes is like a sounding alarm. It’s a better and more concerning indicator of heart disease than high cholesterol and hypertension. With all this being said, if a person has diabetes or heart disease, it’s a good idea to be screened for ED. The link between these deadly diseases and an inconvenient disorder is just too obvious to ignore.
