Christmas time has passed and I bet you got your fair share of wine drinking with all those parties and get-togethers schedule across the holiday season. We received a couple of fine wines as gifts which we still have not opened yet. We are saving those up for special occasions like birthdays or probably special announcements, like a promotion or a baby announcement.

Having a premier wine in a bountiful feast signify how much the event is celebrated. You would usually find wine being served at wedding feasts. It is even considered a tradition to give a toast for the newlywed couple. For general celebrations, a toast is given when well wishers give their messages.

There are a lot of varieties of wine. I personally prefer white wine over red. Which ones do you prefer? Sometimes it depends on what food you pair it with. There’s really so much to learn about wine. It would be a great experience to go on a wine tasting tour in those vineyards and try out a rare wine! It would be great to collect wine too since it usually tastes better as they old. Just like my dad who has started his collection a couple of years back. Some of his bottles of wine were bought around 25 years ago. I wonder when he plans to open them up.
