I never can run out of suggestions on how to display kids’ artwork. I only have two kids but my baskets and boxes are overflowing with their artwork from school and those they do at home. I wish I can find an effective way of storing, organizing and displaying them.

These giant laundry pins make great display for on-the-spot projects. They also make for great pins for to-do lists, bills and social security disability notices.

Our house is due for some deep spring cleaning anytime soon. I am actually scheduling it in two weeks, once school is out for the kids (so I can throw, give away and recycle their school stuff). I haven’t really decluttered since before Christmas and I know I would need to throw out a few toys too. It’s a good thing we don’t have any carpets at home or else I would need to employ carpet cleaning raleigh nc services too.

According to a post by SimpleMom, the first thing you need to “spring clean” is your closet. So I need to prepare myself for it! I even downloaded her printable list. It says to make sure to try one EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF CLOTHING in the closet so you can decide whether it should stay or go.

Oh no. I might not have clothes left after this!

I cannot stress the importance of having a vanity dresser to my husband. I have told him it is essential for my peace of mind that all my Clinique makeup is organized and stashed neatly somewhere. I am a collector at heart. I have been collecting knick knacks and all sorts of things since I was little, from stickers to stationeries to pocketbooks then letters, clothes, shoes and bags. Now that I am married, I try to control my collector side because it usually translates to clutter all over the house. I married a collector/clutterer as well, that’s why! I am thinking of starting a collection that will be invaluable (in terms of money) in the future, like coins or designer bags or jewelry! These lladro collectibles can qualify as such.

I have this urge to decorate my workspace’s walls. I have plenty of stuff to decorate, considering I have a great corner. But I am really thinking it over because I want something that I won’t get bored easily, not too expensive, can easily be changed and would allow me to really focus on work. I was thinking of using the cardboard displays I had made during our wedding but I wanted to include some of the kids too.

Any suggestions?

I have been working at home for almost two family  years now. It has been the best set up for the family as the kids are still young and we need someone to be there for them all the time. Naturally, that would be me, the mother. Inasmuch as I would like to be a housewife and stay-at-home-mom, we need to generate two incomes to be able to support our living. I am just extremely lucky I get to be able to stay at home and still be able to generate a decent income for the family.

It comes with a few rules though. Since I still work at home, I need an area solely intended for me to really work. It has been a work in progress for close to two years already but piece by piece we have completed my workstation. It still needs a bit of finishing touches and organizing but it is all set. I am dying to have some office furniture ordered at Intercounty, specifically their leather office chairs.

I have to be honest, you can find me glued to my workstation more than 12 hours a day so I would need a more comfortable, ergonomic chair. If I can find a red chair in there the better!

This comes in red, I want it! Maybe for my birthday!
