Sale on Furniture

One of my friends work for the Canadian Embassy and every year they get rid of items in their office from computer tables, computers, desks, sofas even refrigerators and microwaves and put them in a garage sale. We are always notified when this happens because there are always great items in the sale. The scanner they use is Symbol LS2208 because it can scan light industrial equipment too.

I have not been able to go the two years past but I heard there were awesome steals. I will be taking note of that in the next year.

Job Hunt

I have been technically without a job for two years now. I still work, but do not have the necessary papers to show for it, so it’s hard for us to apply for a housing loan so we can buy a house. I have been thinking of doing a job search pa just in case I can find one that can fit into our lives right now so I can have papers again. We will see. We are just going to fill up the necessary paperworks needed to file for one and if we are approved, we might move by next year – God willing :) .

Camera Talk

I have been itching to buy a point and shoot camera for quite some time now. It actually got bumped to the top of the list amongst a new lens (50mm), a tripod, remote and a bigger micro sd ever since I got involved with Project 365. Basically what Project 365 does is that it lets you take a photo a day of everything that you want to represent your life. I am actually doing pretty good – there are some bad days but there are more than good ones where I take so many pictures. It’s just a lag to carry my dSLR with me all the time.

Vending Machines

We have been thinking what would be a good business to start with, with a small capital of course. We cannot really afford anything big right now with all the things we need to prioritize. But we do need another venue for money-making. I was thinking of buying some vending machines for gumballs/candies and renting small spaces along key spots in malls or even canteens at schools. I am sure that will be a big hit, and cheap in investment. Vendstar offers the best franchise business opportunity – that of candy vending machines. We will give this some serious thought.

Play-Doh

One of our gifts to the kids last Christmas was a play-doh set. The kids, even with their five-year age gap, loved playing with it. And what’s more, the love playing peacefully with it. It is the only toy that did not have them start a fight five minutes into playing with it. So lately, with only less than a month left for school, the husband and I are talking on what activities to enroll the kids in, especially the big boy, as he gets so bored staying in the house most of the time. The initial plan would be to enroll him in the Center for Pop Music academy his cousin is enrolled to, he will be taking a vacation there at my in-law’s while this is happening too. The big girl I really want to take ballet lessons but I don’t think with the current heat we will be able to survive the city.

We can take pottery classes. There are a bunch of AMACO/Brent supplies. My daughter is into arts lately, always doodling and coloring and drawing. I also am interested on how to do art glazes as they make pretty decorations too! I want to know how to make them as I see decorative bisque ceramic tiles on the room of a friend and loved it. Maybe I should get those
ceramic kilns too, don’t you think?

Scrubs

I am part of the medical community, I bet you would not know that about me just by reading what I write. Simply because I have never talked about my life in the hospital. Well, I am a medical technologist and nurse by profession. Two college degrees that I have not been able to practice in full force due to circumstances. But someday I will practice it, I just don’t know how soon.

I just thought I would mention it since I cannot believe how fashionable scrub suits have become these days. Maybe we owe it to the influx of medical series in TV shows like ER, Grey’s and House? Scrubs and Beyond has a wide range of scrub suit uniforms for medical personnel.

You would not know these were koi scrubs just by looking at them right?

You can get these koi uniforms as a whole or just the koi scrub pants, like the ones medical doctors use.

You can see and buy them online and you can even stock on your favorites as some are on sale. I know how easy scrub suits can be soiled as we work 12 hours a day four times a week. It’s a very challenging but rewarding life!

A new notebook?

My very much loved Dell Inspiron 1525 has been with me for only almost two years and its motherboard gave way already once. There are a couple of netbooks I certainly would like to try some day but I would not need it as of now. I have a desktop and trusty laptop to help me stay connected. Any suggestions?

Business Opportunities

Friends have been thinking of what business to invest in these days. Food franchise opportunities are always expensive but it is relatively low risk as you know that food would always be a basic need of people – you just need to make sure you do your marketing research – location and people preferences are the key. Kiosks or stalls are not that expensive and you can rent small spaces in the mall too.

New Job?

A friend of mine is contemplating whether or not she should get one of those south jersey jobs being offered to her. It is closer to home so she can save but the tenurity at her old job is something she cannot let go of just yet. I think the deciding factor would be if her husband will get a raise at his job – she can risk a new job so she can be closer to home and be able to keep an eye out for her kids.

fake Rolex Yacht-Master watches

It’s true that Rolex produces a watch for everyone. Need we list the sportsmen, the business entrepreneur, the wife, the mother and the home owner? People from all walks of life can own a Rolex or at the very least a fake or replica of the Rolex.

The fake Rolex Yacht-Master watches are a fantastic alternative to the Rolex Yacht-Master because they give the person who follows the fashion stakes the opportunity to look as good as they want to look but without the high price tag.

The many and varied models allow many choices for those who loves ships or yachts with the Yacht-Master model and the race goers may like the Daytona or the more conservative may prefer another model altogether.

Because there are so many replica models to choose from with their fantastic lines and cloned proportions there is no reasons why you wouldn’t be proud to wear a fake.

If you are seeking a watch that shows you to have refined elegance or simply the functionality of a good and reliable watch then a fake may be just what you are looking for. The fake satisfies many needs covering durability, style, reliability, accuracy and can also be noted as a stylish watch with many models available. One set in particular that stands out is the fake Rolex Yacht-Master watches. These fakes are a relatively new design and still quite a fashionable item that will suit both men and women equally. There was a design suited to males made firstly and then hotly followed by a model that would please any woman.

All fake and replica brand watches are made with great attention to detail. If you buy a fake you will spend hours admiring its quality and you will have to remind yourself that it is not actually a real Rolex even though you will easily convince yourself just by looking at it and having it working on your wrist that it is.
